Over the past year, For Our Healing has grown. We’ve added new members, cheered on new leaders and created a one-stop site for news, posts, class schedules, tips and more. Whew, 2015 has been busy!
To celebrate, we decided to cultivate our creativity with a new logo (designed by the talented John Cater) and a new name (...drumroll…) Tree of Life. What’s in a name? We think a lot. Here’s why we’re making the shift.
Biblical Roots: Our Core Verse
“On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
There’s actually nothing changing about our group’s roots. We believe that God created plants, seeds, leaves, trees and fruit to help us achieve greater day-to-day wellness. So our new name comes straight from a verse that has inspired us from the very beginning, Revelation 22:2.
Business Roots: Our Core Products
In our theme verse, we love how the Tree of Life is depicted as the source of fruit and leaves that help the nations maintain wellness. The concept reminded us a lot of what Young Living does with their essential oils, take the pure, life-giving goodness from plants and make them easily accessible for our daily use.
Personal Roots: Our Core Mission
On another level, our group is a little like a Tree of Life. By sharing our love of essential oils and natural products, we introduce a new way to support health to the people in our life. Let Tree of Life be the source of essential oils -- and greater wellness -- for you!
Budding Ideas: What’s Next
As we grow into our Tree of Life identity, we’ll be working on new ways to make it easier than ever to join our group and even plant a business of your own. Stay tuned for 2016, we’ll looking forward to a plentiful harvest.
